I appreciate your comment. I have a neighbor who is a zoologist, and he gives me a lot of insects that he catches in his traps. Otherwise, I find things on the ground while walking, or people bring things to me to make art out of them. Pretty flattering when someone brings a dead mouse to me, or a skull of some sort.
No animals were harmed as a result of my artwork.

i love this one. your use of animal parts gets me on a really visceral level. i normally wouldn’t condone using these types of materials, but i guess it’s ok if the little critters were already dead when you found them :) thanks!
