Artist Statement

Shahla has creatively combined a contemporary abstract style with a sense of reality in her pieces. Her works depict a rich variety of subjects with her characteristic fluid form. Stone and bronze enhance her designs with a powerful permanency and that touch of understated elegance. Her other media specialties include clay and acrylic paints.
